Humble Beginings
Well here goes nothing. I am sure there are a million blogs, sites, and news groups that talk about games. I am also aware that most every angel has been taken on most every game site. While I do not want to duplicate what has been done I would just like to add my own revilations into this increasingly murky pool of information and missinformation.
That being said I will take a min to introduce myself and give some of my credentials as a gamer. My name is Shawn and I have been pationet about games sence the day my dad brought hom aIBM pc juinor sometime around 1985. If I have the date of the release of that inpaticualr pc then I am sorry I WAS 6. From that day forward I have lived games. I can recall selling 100 of my GI Joes at a garage sale to be able to buy an original NES after my parents messed up and bought me a SEGA Master System as a present. Sorry for you SEGA lovers out there at the time that had to be the lamest thing ever. I think tht was the first time I remember having to force an excited response. I have come to love SEGA now and respect the games that they have produced over the years but at the time I was the one kid that had a SEGA while all my friends had a NES and could trade games with one another. Anyway I have gotten off the topic. If anyone out there reads this and continues to read this they will find that I am very good at that. I have continued up the consol and pc ladder untill today playing almost anything I could get my hands on. I now am strong into MMORPG's (Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Games) for the uneducated umong you. I also am going to school now as a computer programer/ game designer. I have the same dream I did when I was 6 and watched my dad make a chirtsmas tree decorating game on that IBM I want to create games.
Like I said this will be my experiances in game life and in real for how everlong it seams interesting to document it. I will have a much better post for any of you that find this blog out of the millions next time. Check back thanks.
